Zone.—No. 1 drive is now in 118fb, and I am expecting to cub the reef any minute. One of the lodes discovered last week measures 40ft asrea and consists' OF a bine gray quartz, well mineralised. This will junction with No. 1 reef in the vicinity of the crosscut. The drive on No. 4 reef is in a further distance of 12ft. The country continues of the same description, nod I intend to crosscut'tbe reef when in another 20 feet.
. York. —The drive on No. 1 reef ib now in 40.feet. I have also started a,drive to intersect the Zone No. 4 reef, which I have traced into this property. Tho country here ia of the very beat description.
Kino .of .Whangamata. — Driving is being continued on the crosscut, which is now in 75 feet, the ground just now being very, tight.
