.show colours of gold; Tbe leader looks well, is aboub three inches thick, and carries nicely defined walls, and, it is quite possible, may still further improve as driven upon, and, indeed, make good stone. At any rate, the colours seen yesterday are highly encouraging. The face of this drive is now in 67/1 from the Gain level. The drive on Bannerman's is 75ft, and during the last lift colours of gold have been seen in the stone every braakingdOwn. Some l.fb require to bedriveu yet to the point above which Bannerooan gob hi. gold, but aa the country in tbe face is very bard, ib will naturally take some little driving to get through the distance. The leader yesterday was a little split up, but a change of country of an easier nature appears to be coming in and tho next foot or two should see the leader solid again. The outlook of tha mine is certainly brightening, and with more men, for whom there is plenty of room, to expedite tbe work, no reason exists why profitable headway should not be made.
