At the Warden's Court a plainb for forfeiture broughb by John Gallagher against George H. White in connection with Dickson's lictinaed holding ie being heard. Mr Baum. is appearing for the plaintiff aad Mr Millar for defendant. The defendant admitted that no men wero employed, lb appears thab White ob tamed permission from the Court to work with two men, but ignored this altogether, as he had lodged a claim for amalgamation of the holdine with another one ad joining-, end thought this curried protection with ib. The case is proceeding. Consequent on the largo amounb of business, Warden Keany stated that priority would be given to those cases in which counsel coming from a distance were engaged, consequently the defended cases were taken first.

In a wages claim by Isaac P. Leak against the Ake Ake G.M. Company, Mr Millar appeared for plaintiff and Mr Colbeck appeared for defendants. After hearing considerable evidence, the Warden entered judgment for bhe defendant Company with costs £4 2s. An application by Mr G. S. Budge for Gem ot Tairua stiecial claim was objected to by the Kauri Timber Company on the ground of alleged encroachment on their freehold block, Pakuaraki No. 1. Messrs Jackson Palmer and Clendon appear for the applicanb and Mr McCormick for the Company. The case is now proceeding.
