£3,071 FOR THE MONTH,
Thin Karangahake mine has opened the year well, the first return being an excellenb one, bullion worth £3,071 being obbained after a bhree weeks run of bhe battery, during which 918 tons of ore were treated. The return for the previous month was £4,628 lOs.
