Wellington, this day. A woman named Annie Pedder, aged 64, wife of a storekeeper in South Road, was admitted to the hospital last nighb. Her throat is vory severely cub. and she is in a critical condition, and unable to give any information aa to how she received her wound. Ib is inbanted to make considerable alterations in the subject matter of the journel of " Labour" after the next i-^ue, ■ the idea boing to confine its columns principally to matters affecting labour in this culony.
