SUPREME COURT
IN BANKRUPTCY.
A sitting in bankruptcy was held this moruing ab tho Supreme Courb by His Honor Mr Justice Conolly. A motion by Mr Dufaur for order of discharge for Edgar Chichester Jonea, a bankrupt, was ordered to stand over sine die. A similar order was made in re Samuel Henry Worth, a bankrupt, for whom Mr Shrewsbury appeared. In re Robert) Puree!!, a bankrupt, Mr Hugh Campbell applied for an order of discharge. Mr Mahony appeared for a creditor named Francis Gedye and opposed tho application.—The order was granted. Discharges were also granted, without opposition, to Alfred Cole, Wm. Abbey, and Eliza Kemp Wallis.—A motion for order of discharge was set down in re Harry Bennett, a bankrupt, but, on the case being called, Mr Cooper, the applicant's solicitor, withdrew it, as the bankrupt had nob been able to pay certain washes which he owed. Mr Colter and Mr Burton appeared lor certain creditors in this case.—ln the above ca^ea Mr J. P. McAJister (Tola and McAliater) appeared for the Official Assignee. In re Stapyl.on Cotton Caulton, a bankrupt, MrHe&kcth applied to the Courb to reverse the decision of the Official A«signoe respecting proof of debt. The Court upheld the Assignee's decision.—This afternoon the public qxamioation ot Ernest 11. Bennett, a bankrupt, was proceeding.
