DUNEDIN KNIGHTS OF LABOUR.

Dunedin, this day. The Dunedin Assembly of the Knights of Labour has passed a resolution heartily endorsing the principle of old age pensions introduced by tho. Premier, and trusts that he may be able bo have the Bill passed this session. The Assembly, while realising the neceesiby for the full employment of all able to work in bhe colony protests against the proposal in the Financial Statement of borrowing one million as a means of reaching thab result. The principal reason given is that the result would be better attained by issuing direcily to- tho people notes which shall be legal tender for all purpoees.
