Coromandei., this day.
Nothing ia being done yeb in the shaft. pending the erection of the pumping machinery. The necessary excavations for the engine-bouse, etc., havo all been completed, the poppet legs of a substantial, kind erected, and the men are now waiting for the arrival of the machinery, which if expected at any time now. It. ia anticipated that in a fortnight everything will be in position, and ready to. proceed with sinking operations.
