At the Warden's Court to-day the follow ing epecial claims ab Coromandel were recommended :—
St. Mary's Extended, W. Clements. Star of the North, B. M. Murray. Golden Mountain, T. Barrow, Corea No. 1, A. H. Gentil. Corea No. 2, A. H. Gentil. Moehau Star Extended, G. W. Barker.
St. Mark's licensed holding, granted to J. J. Mclsaacs.
Miscellaneous applications were granted as follows :—Water race to A. B. Kelly, AugHSt Luhrs and W. Lang, Waikoromiko Creek ; B. M. Murray, Wharerea Creek.
Residence sites were granted to Alfred Nathan, L. D. Nathan, E. B. Dufaur.
The following special claims ab Euao tunu were recommended :—
lona Extended, Alex. White. Boliver, D. G. McDonnell. Peru, James McGregor. Mexico, G. Dunnett.
Posonoa, W. H. Cooper: Miscellaneous applications were granted as follows -.—Residence sites bo J. B. Forzueon, Joseph Knight, Charlotte Knighb, F. A. Marshall, E. L. Marshall, K. P. Uornibrook, M. J. Peterson.
Applications for protection ab Coromandel were granted as follows :—Nil Desperandum, three months ; Waikete, Wairakei, Pohutu, Moehau Star, Tainui, and Arawa, six months each.
Permission was granted to work the Leading Wind with 6, men for four months ; Jatinga, 3 men for four months ; Jocelyn, 2 men, four months: Mnt&wai, 3 men, four mouths ; Morning Star, 3 mon, four months; ditto, Madge; Bay View Extended, 2 men, four months; Balfour, 4 men four months. Protection was granted co tha St. George for a machine sifce ; six months' protection was granted to the Ballarat, Smile of Fortune, Shotover, Gem of Hauraki, Alti, Alti Extended, Speedwell, Speedwell Surplus, Ada, Conquering Hero and Three Castles.
Applications for protection were granted in Kuaotunu for six months each to the Wheal-Baeßett, Jubilee, Shakespeare, Hooker'B Hope, Kia Ora, lovicta North, Queen of Beauty and WaiSaia. Permission was granted to work the Monarch of All with three men for four months, and Peep of Day with four men for four months.
