THE TENNIS TOURNAMENT.
Sydney, May 7.
The most interesting of the tennis matches to-day wag certainly the mixed doubles, which was re-played after being partially completed yesterday. Tbe New Zealanders won by two sets and games, the score being 14 to 8." Miss Nunnelly played a dashing game, winning the pair. They were next matched against Mackenzie and Miss Mackenzie, representing New South Wales, but had an easy victory, winning the first two sets, equal to twelve games to five. Parker and Miss Nunnelly have yet to meet Deerhurst and Miss Dransfield, also representing New South Wales, who wiH probably give them a hot game. In the Men's Handicap Singles Crossrnan beat Parker, two sets to 'one. In Men's Double Handicap Goddard and Strickland beat Gore and Collins, two to love. In the Ladies' Singles Miss Nunnelly beat Miss Dransfield, two to love.
