Wool.—Sinca tbe close of last _alea, greasy washed and scoured merino, medium and inferior, are id to Id lb lower. Scoured merino super, fino washed, scoured and medium greasy crossbreds ara id lb lower. Washed merino euper. and fine greasy crossbred ara Id per lb lower. Medium washed and medium scoured crossbred, greasy merino lambs super., medium and inferior, are Jd lb lower. Greasy crossbred lamba are _d lb higher. Medium greaey crossbred, coarse greasy, washed and scoured crossbreds are par to lb lower. Slipe haa declined id lb. Crossbred market easier. Competition by both Home and foreign buyers is active, except wools of a faulty character which are neglected. There is no American demand. Up to date, 69,000 bales have been sold. The tobal auantifcy withdrawn to date is 9,000 bales. *
