At the Egmotib Racing Club Meeting yesterday Booties won the Steeplechase by two lengths, the other places being filled by Lord Vivian and Narrate. Time, 7min 328ec. Dividend, £3 17a. The: Stewards' Stakes fell to Dummy, Marino being second and Artist third. Time, lmin,36sec. Dividend, £5 I3s. A cablegram from Adelaide states that the Adelaide Cup of l.OOOsovs, one mile and five furlongs, fell to Warpaint (9st 31b), Miraculum (7st 41b) being socond and Trentham (7st 41b) third. Time, 3min 51 4-stb sec.

Colours: Dark blue with gold badge.
A youth named Walter Soars, aged 16, residing in Wellington-street, while driving a coal cart along Cuatom-streeti this morning foil out, and one of the wheels went over his legs. He was afterwards taken to the Hospital, where on bis arrival .it was found thab no bones were broken, bub that the legs were badly cut.
