The aafo was then blown open by some explosive, and £100 in cash stolen. At 7 a,m. the empty cash box was found" blown open, and thia was the firsc known of the robbery, though it is reported that aboub 2 a.m. a noise was heard, which ia now supposed to have been the explosion.
