Christchorch, this day. At a meeting of the Hospital Board, Dr. Walter Fox was appointed house surgeon ; Dr. Crosbie, assistant house surgeon ; and Dr Diamond was elected to fill tho vacancy on the honorary medical staff caused by the resignation of Dr. Deamer. The Board also accepted a tender of £7,489 for the construction of tho Hyman Marks ward.
