Abta meeting of directors of the Golden Tokafcoa G.M. Company held this morning at the office of Mr W. R. Waters, manager, Victoria Arcade, the plan of the property drawn up by Mr J. Reilly, and the report) by Mr KF. Adams were approved. This property is under ofier to a strong syndicate in Liverpool, the preliminary reports having been forwarded by last mail. Further papers will be forwarded by Saturday'B mail.
STERLING GOLDMINING COMPANY
This property, which now comprises the Mount Rose and Sterling minaß ab Karangahake, was last Wednesday placed in the hands of Mr Sydney W. Philips through hie agent here, Mr M, A. Philips. SiDce then a cable has been received from Loudon to the following efiect: —" I can negotiate Bale of Sterling by cable. If roports are satisfactory, lam confident of success." Steps have therefore been taken to have the property reported upon immediately, and the particulars will in : due courße be cabled to Mr S. W. Philips.in London to eav« any delay.
WAIHI REISFS
A meeting of shareholders in tho Waihi Reefs was held this afternoon ab the office of Mr S. H. Matthews, Short-land-streetj. Mr Alfred Kidd was voted to the chair. The memorandum of Association and rules were submitted and passed. The following appointments in connection with tho company were made : Manager, Mr Scoring 11. Matthews; directors, Mesers S. T. George, James Macfarlane, James Russoll. Thomas Morrin, Alfred Kidd ; auditor, Mr W. B. A. Morrinon ; solicitors, Messrs Whitaker and Baume. The chairman atated that this property was under offer in London.
