Ab bhe Cycling Carnival, Martin fell in bhe final heat of bhe mile, bringing down Harris, and permitting Porfca to win easily. Martin was badly cub aboub the legs. Harris annexed both the three and five mile events. He also made an effort to break the quarbor mile record from a flying start, cubting oub the dietance, paced by tandem, in 27 3-sth sec.
