MASONIC
The annual convocation of the Provincial Grand Lodgo, Scotch Constitution, was held on January 8 in Lodge Ponsonby, the Hon. W. McCullough presiding. The attendance waa large. The annual election and installation of officers was parb of the business before the Lodge. Bro. Gerhard Mueller was installed substitute Provincial Grand Master, Bro. J. VV. Rees, Provincial Grand Master of the Irish Constitution, and Bro. Wm. Anderson, Deputy Provincial Grand Master, being the presenting officers. Bro. Professor Black, of the Dunedin University, was among the visitors. The following is the list of officers : —Bro. Wm. Anderson, D.P.G. Master; Bro. G. Mueller, S.P.G. Master ; Bro. Malcolm on " Benevolence," after which the Lodge waa closed in ancient form.
