At a meoting of the Butter Export Coramission, tho managers of the Orient and P. and 0. Companies gave evidence that during the hot months a largo proportion of the butter received for shipment was at a temperature over 50Jeg., ranging as high as TOdeg. Expert evidence was also given that when heated bu'.ter waa frozon it went rotten on being heated, and should not bo sont on board at a higher temperature than 45deg.
