The Ballarab sensation was before the Court today. The case againsb the girl Bones, charged with forging her father's name to a cheque, was wibbdrawn, and Warner, the clerk, alleged to be an accomplice, was discharged, the Bench holding there was no case. The girl gave evidence that she had known Warner for three or four weeks when he asked her to marry him,' and stipulated thab she should steal and forge a cheque, and promised to return the money if her father consented to the marriage. She gave him five blank cheques, and showed him her father's signature. Subsequently she cashed the cheque which Warner had signed.
