AUSTRALIAN SMELTING COMPANY.
London, August 9,
The quarter of a million capital issued by tbe Australian Smelting Company has been over subscribed. It is intended to erect works at Illawarra immediately. The machinery will be capable of treating two hundred thousand tons of sulphides annually. Contracts are out for ib, and a portion will be shipped on Friday.
