':'.... Gumsi'CUUKCH, this day. Seeious floods are reported in the Ellesmero district. All low-lyinj; lands are covered with water, and the distress and lo3s among settlers is considerable. The lake is higher than it has been known to be for twenty years. It is also feared that a missing boy has been drowned. Jt is still raining, and bitterly cold, and the weather Shows no sign of clearing.
