She ia of 4,712 tons; with upperand main docks of steel, and tho exposed parts of the upper.deck sheathed. Deop framing has been introduced in place of hold beams, which leaves the holds clear for the stowage o*f cargo. A cellular double-bottom extends fore and aft for wator-ballaer.. The forward holds arid 'tween decks have been insulated to Buit .the carrying of frozen meat.
