HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID BOARD.

The ordinary meeting of tho Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid Boarii wa9 held this afternoon. Present: Mr P. Dignan (Chairman) and Messrß Gordon, Stichbury, Bruce, Bollard, Swales, Kissling, White.

Auckland Hospital Additions.— Correspondence was received from, the Public •Works Department, relative to the specification for the Hospital additions. Certain alterations at a cost of about £20 were recommended. These alterations were agreed to1 by Mr Bartley, the Board's architecb, who was. in attendance, and it was agreed to nail for tenders for the work.-

Hospital and Charitable Aid Board relative to certain claims,' and Messrs Hesketh and Rich-; mond'B opinion thereon were read!.—lt was agreed to send a copy of the letter of the Board's legal advisers to the Bay of Plenty Board.
