At the Hoßpital Board yesterday, the report of Dr* McGregor, to the Minister in charge of the Department, on the recent inquiry held by Mrs Neill into the working of the Institution, was reud. Dr. McGregor states :—'• I mentioned at a mooting of the Board, the names of those who must at all hazards be moved from the hospital, if possible by providing them with other positions ; but, in any case, it is clear that there can be no peace until this is done. Mrs Neill's conclusions, arrived, ab after thorough examination, coincide with my own convictions, arrived at after years of observation, and I am sure thab nothing else is needed to secure peace." it was decided to bold a special meeting, on Wednesday next, to consider tho report. The Chairman of the House Committee read the evidence, which had been taken with regard to the charges of cruelty against one of the nurses, and it was resolved that she should be dismissed. . .
