POLICE COURT-THIS DAY
: (Before R. S. Bush, Esq., S.M,) Drunkenness. — Eliza Johnson, alias Madame La Mubeen, a bhird offender, was given bhe opbion of a fine of 20s or 7 days' imprisonment).—David Sullivan, a second offender, was fined 10s, or in default 48 hours, and two firsb offenders were discharged with a caution.
*No Lawful Means.—An adjourned case in which Joseph' Welling was charged wibh being an idle and disorderly person and having no lawful visible means pf support, was withdrawn. — Sergeant McMahon sbated thab the accused was undergoing a sentence of three months' imprisonment for bhe same oflence, and that the police therefore did not wish to offer any evidence in the case.
