AUTHORISED RACE MEETINGS.
The following is a list of jockey clubs in Auckland aubhorised by bhe Conference (hold in Cbristchurch on November 7bh and fitb, 1894) to apply for permits to use the totalisator, and number of meetings apportioned to each club for the season 1895-96.

This leaves us with a reduction of 50. But there are certain addifionß bo be counbed. Takapuna is allowed one more meeting than ib had last season, bo ha 9 Geraldine, while Christchurch, Rangiora, Pelorous, and Wesbporb each has a meeting thab did nob appear in bhe list for last season. Deducb these six from bho 50 and we have bhe actual difference of 44 meetings lees for next season than for the season of 1893-94."
