LATE SPORTING.
By the s.B. Mararoa, which lefb for Southern ports to day, Major George's New Zealand Cup candidate, Pesrasus, was conveyed to Chriatchurch to fnltil his engagements. Mutiny, the hero of the jumping events at the recent A.J.C. Meeting, and Oouranto were also on board the Mararoa, having been brought over from Sydney. Mutiny and Couranto's destination is their owner's place at Napier. The Goldsbrough—Lady Lurline mare., knocked down to Mr L. D. Nathan aba recent sale in Sydney for 50 guineas, was re-aold at an advance on the price paid.
