Alleged Perjury..-—Abraham Bowden wsb called to answer the charge of having committed perjury in connection with tha hearing ot an assault case on the sfch of September. Mr T. Cotter appeared for the defendant and asked tor a. further adjournment! until Monday, as the accused was etill too ill to appear.— Mr' McAllister, who appeared for tho prosecution, opposed the adjournment. — Dr. T. S. Lawry deposed that he had attended the accaeed since the 7th of September. He did nob consider him fit to. come to Courb. Thia evidence was corroborated by Dr. T. W.
