AUCKLAND HARBOUR BOARD.

The ordinary meeting of the Auckland Harbour Board was held thia afternoon, and was attended by Messrs Adam Porter (Chairman), J. McCabe, R. F.-irrell, E. W. Alißon, C. V. Houghton, C. S. Wright, W. J. Napier, J. H. Witheford, J. T. Julian, A. E. Devore, and T. Henderson. Fish Market.—D. Holland wrote submitting to the Board the desirability of offering fche fish markeb in Quay-streeb for loase by auction.—lt waa decided to leb the fish market by auction, the Finance and Legal Committee to prepare conditions of lease. Northcote Wharf,—A letter from G. N. Brassey re the unsafe condition of tho Northcote Wharf waa referred to tho Works and Tariff Committee. Timber Company's Frontage.—A letter from the Kauri Timber Company re the silting up of the harbour in front of the mills was referred to the Works and Tariff Committee.
