AUCKLAND COURSING CLUB.

There was a very poor attendance of the public ab the Auckland Coursing Club meeting on Saturday. However, the sport was of an exciting character the hares running well, and the great majority escaping. Out of 54 courses only eight bares were killed. Mr A. Coatee and the Committee are to be complimented on the management of the meeting. The Ladies' Bracelet was divided between Cushla and Mica Wyatb, Mrs M. Feley, being the nominator of both. The Avondale Cup fell to Mr J. Appleby's Rambler, who beat the favourite Kotiro after a very close course. Mr M. Foley's The Imp won the Mount Albert Stakes, with Major as runner-up. Griffiths, owned by Mr M. Foley, won the Manukau Stakes, Okarita being runner-up.
