London, July 11. The "St. James' Gazette" consider ib absurd of Great Britain to haggle over Mr Huddarb's steamers when vessels running to foreign ports are'subsidised. Mr Hogan haa given notice to aßk if the Government propose to assist Mr Huddart'a line in view of the'delay caused to the Australian and American mails by the strike. Ottawa, July 11.
