■--: Wellington, this day. The Benevolent Trustees have decided t° close the shelter and restaurant;, which they (lave kept open for the unemployed for some timb past, an the end of the month. Although the work provided by the formation ot'the Queen's Drive has absorbed a large number of the unemployed, there are still aboub 100 men for whom the trustees cannot find work, and the number is swelled every day by niun arriving from other, districts.
