MINING CASUALTY.
EXKLOSION IN SILESIA,
ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY MEN KILLED.
Berlin, June 15. A shocking affair is reported from Silesia, a province forming the south-east portion of the Kingdom of Prussia, noted for its valuable mines of coal, iron, and lead. In one of the coal mines there occurred to-day an explosdon of a serious character, by which one hundred and fifty miners were killed, aud groa b damage done to property. Later. The mine in Sileaia caught fire. Ib is feared two hundred men, including members ofrtiscue parties, have met thoir deaths.
