Christchdrcii, Monday. Yesterday morning, about 6 o'clock, Miss Hilda Lewis, daughter of Mr George L. Lewis, of Lyttelton, was found dead, with her throat cut. Deceased had been ailing for the past year, and lately her mind become affected through physical exhaustion. At the inquest held ab Lyttelton this afternoon a verdict of " suicide while of unsound mind " was returned.
