Napier, this day. The annual meeting of the Medical Association commenced here lasb evening under bhe presidency of Dr. Spencer (Napier). There wero also presenb : Drs. Walker (Auckland), Syme and Thomas (Chnsbchurch), Chappell, Mackenzie, Ewarb and Pollen (Wellington), Cleghom (Blenheim), Mirback (Waipawa), and tho local medical men. Dr. Spencer read a paper on '* Bacteriology," embodying a good deal of modern discovery relative to basteriosidal modes of treatment, which was ordored to be printed and circulated among tho members. Papers were also read by Drs. Mackenzie, Thomas, Cleghorn and Moore on special cases.
