Sydney, thia day,
Very heavy rain has interfered with trammer operations, and, as the majority of the horses are engaged in the Hawkesbury Autumn Meeting, very little work ia indulged in. Loyalty and Launceston were in excellent form, and there is but little to choose between them. In tho work alotted on Saturday a good gallop was registered bebween Light Artillery, The Admiral and Sailor Prince over a mile and bhree-quarters, and bhe firsb - named had the besb of ib. Steadfast, Patron and Portsea did fasb work. Camoola and Projectile were restricted to a mile spin, which was covered in lmin 50|sec. Carnage is improving, and galloped a mile fasb thia morning.
