SUPREME COURT SESSIONS.

Christchurch, thia day. The Supreme Court criminal session 9 opened thia morning before Judge Dennis" ton. The charge was brief, as there was uo cases of a special character. Richard, the Yorkshire pressman, for false pretenses, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment. Prisoner has already been sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment in the R..M. Court.
