DEVONPORT SCHOOL INQUIRY.
THE SENTENCE.
(To the Editor),
Sir, —In their finding, the Board o* Educabion was not. unanimous. Tho sentence was nob concurred in by all the members, Mr Benge, as a teacher, is possibly not excelled by any othor teacher in the North Inland. For many years he has been in tho employ of the Board and, hitherto, has given universal satisfaction to parents and children. Under tl)6se circumstances, would the Board of Education consider it amiss were a petition presented to them respectfully urging them to modify bhe severity of the sentence ?—I, am, etc. Thomas Gresham, TeAwamutu. February 2nd, 1894.
