Sir,—l would pass by in silence " Zamiel's ,J comments on myself in Saturday's issue, though these are anything but correct; but whon he slanders bhe character of the Chamborlin Brothers, then I musb complain. Ho says rumour has ib I wa. shocked with the steerman's oath when the accident occurred. Now, sir, bhi. is utterly false. No unbecoming word was. spoken, nor was 1 ever with men more agreeable or polite.—l am, etc., James Blaikie. Auckland, February, 1894.
