WINS FOR PARNELL AND

AUCKLAND.

The fine weather on Saturday was very favourable for crickeb, and drew a large number of spectators to the Domain Crickeb Ground. The Association Cup matches were continued. The Gordon-Auckland match resulted in an easy victory for Auckland by an innings and 54 runs. Arneil and T. Neill, the not outs of the previous Saburday, continued at the bat, and made 159 and 28 runs respectively before they j wero pub out. Parnell beab the United J Club easily. Burgess, 1 wicket for 14 runs, Valentine 3 for 1, Gonley 4 for 10, Brown 1 for 14. North Shore in first innings made 74 runs. The chief scorsrs wero Mears (29), Holland (10), Brown (9). For All Saints' Langsford took 4 wickets for 7 runs, and Crooks 3 for 33. All Saints' in their second innings made 106 runs. Airey (31), Langsford (16) and Robertson (12) batted best for AU Saints'. North Shore in their second innings made 45 rnn3. Valentine, 27 (nob oub), waa the only batsmen who reached double figures. North Shore, requiriug 81 runs to win, had 8 wickebs down for 19, the innings finally closing for 45, the last two wickets putting on 26 runs. All Saints' won by 35 runs. For All Saints', Langsford took 5 wickets for 17 runs, and Dacre took 5 wickets for 24 runs. St. John's v. Wanderers ll.—Wanderers in their first innings made 41 runs, nnd in their second innings 78 runs, total 119. Sb. John'o in their first innings made 26 runs, and in their Becond 30 runs, total 56. The Wanderers 11. thus won by 63 runs. For Sb. John's, Woods got 6 wickets for 28 and Laws 3 for 8, while for Wanderers S. Mills got 5 for 21 and Clark 3 for 8 runs. Gordon 11. v. Belmont.—Gordon in their firsb innings made 64 runs, and in bheir second 26 runs ; total, 90. Belmont made a total of 174 in their firsb innings, and thus won by an innings and 84 runs. Parnell 11. v. Pitt-street Mutual.— Parnell in bheir fireb innings mado 54 runs, and in their second 118, total 172. The Pitb-streeb Mutual men made 90 in their firsb innings, and 40 in tbeir second turn ab the wickuts, total 130. Parnell thus won by 42 runs. Henderson v. Swanson played their return match at Henderson on Saturday lasb. The match ended in a win for the local team, 11 runs by H. Hougham being the highest score. PARNELL 111. V. BELMONT B.
