DunediNj this day. The Minister for Lands came into town to* day, but, as it was not known ho waa coming, he escaped any demonstration. He had a long conference with tbe Hon. John Mclntyre. Victorian Minister for Lauds, on Departmental matters and IfiidCadministration generally. Both Ministers leavo tomorrow. The Hon. J. McKenzie is staying at Palmerston to attend bho Show, and tho Victorian Minister is going as far as Studholme Junction to inspect the village settlement bebween thero and Christchurch.
