Wellington, this day. The Customs duty for October, exclusive of Tauranga, was £138,808, againsb £144,328 lasb month, and £122,412 last October. This is 3,808 abovetho proportion. Auckland contribnbed £28,200; Wellington, £29,944 ; Chrisbchurch, £24,424 ; Dunedin, £29,735. The Customs revenue now shows £26,084 surplus. Beer duty in October waa £5,417, againsb £4,528 in September, and £4,904 lasb October. Auckland contributed £1,209; Wellington, £626; Christchurch, £923; Dunedin, ,£1,287. Thia branch of the revenue is £2,300 below its proportion.
