He favours the maintenance of the Educabion Acb, and is opposed to Bible-reading and prohibition. If the latter is agreed to it should be for tho whole colony, not any particular district. Large estates should only be purchased by direct sanction of Parliament. He was opposed to the Government as at preßenb constituted.
