SUDDEN DEATH OF A HANDCART MAN.
The sudden death of David Oliver, aged 55, hand-cart man, is reported. The man lived at bhe house of Mr Michael Skerry, in Lome sbfeeb, and lasb evening, after having his evening meal, was indulging in a resb on a sofa. Ab nine o'clock he suddenly died, and Mr Skerry ab once reported the matter to the police. Ib appears bhab Oliver bursb a blood vessel aboub five weeks ago, and he has been in delicate health Rince that time. He was attended by Dr. Davy, who saw deceased lasb night and certified bhat deabh was from natural causes through tbe rupture of a blood vessel. Under the circumstances, Dr. Philson saw no occasion for holding an inqueab. Oliver was an industrious, hard-working man, and had a deposit of £52 10s in the Auckland Savings Bank, besides owning a band-cart and property.
