THE RUSSIAN FLEET.

Paris, October 18,
The Russian sailors were received with delirious enthusiasm on tbeir arrival in Paris. Officers were escorted to tbe official rosidence of tho President ab tho Elyseo in a triumphal procession of astounding proportions. During their passage through tho streets they received continued ovations of a mosb frenzied and ridiculous character from tho inhabitants, who seemed, for the time boine, to have taken leave of their senses. Well-dressed ladies were to bo seen everywhoro embraciug Russians in tho streets. President Carnot gave tho visitors a warm welcomo on thoir arrival ab the Elysee, bub hia speech was of a pacific nature London, Octobor 18. Tho " Pall Mall Gazebto 8 " correspondent says thab the visit of tho Russians has turned Paris into an inland sea of tears of joy. The freaks of tho people woro amazingly amußing, and tho übterancos of the press porfectly hysterical.
