London, September 4.
Thietv thousand miners in South Wales have abandoned the sliding Bf^le of pay, and decided to join the Miners' jj'ederation of Great Britain.
A mass meeting of miners at Pontypridd, Glamorganshire, decided to resume work on Tuesday.
