MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS,

Albornia.—The directors declared a dividend of 6d per share this morning. Some excellent well mineralised stone from No.. 5 and 6 stopes was on view to-day at Mr D. G. Macdonnell's office. The manager reports that the Dixon's reef, at tho 70 feet level east of the winzo, has not boon cut oil by tho old Sons of Eroedom workings, but instead of running right into the drive it is bearing away to the left, and from the present appearauce is likoly to run clear of the old drive more to the North, leaving the Sons of Freedom reef to the right. There is every likelihood that this footwall portion will continue instead of being cut off, as was anticipated. The reef is from 5 to 6 feet in thickness, and of a very kindly nature, carrying some good minerals.

Try Fluke,—The manager reports that the prospects in the mine are still encouraging. The details of the crushing aro as fol.ovv. :—7OO tons of oro returned 1730_ of gold at the battery, and 650 tons of tailings treated by [he cyanido process yielded 2730z 14dwt of melted gold, making a total for the month of 4460z 15dwt of gold.

Hazelbank.—Tho manager reports that tho lode is somewhat split up at the No. 2 intermediate eastern drive, therefore ho thinks they are approaching the break met in No. 1. About 15 inches of crushing dirt carrying a good deal of mineral, in which a little gold is frequently soon, is being taken fron the leading stope along the back from tho winze. The reef in the western drivo is split up, but has nevertheless improved, gold being freely »oen in the quartz. Although picked etono has not been selected, still the ore should crush well. A little gold has been seen in tho last stope under No. 1, which in now within 30 Feet of the break. In the Icadin.- stone at No. 1 level tho lodo is 8 inches thick, and from this a lew pounds of picked stone havo been obtained. Gold is also seen in tho leading stope at the back of this love!. .♦. clay head has thrown out tho leef at No. 3 level. Tho lode has not yet been picked up again. Thero are 1420z of amalgam on baud at the battery.
