COGILL BROS. MINSTRELS.

A change of programme had the effect of attracting a large audience to the Opera* House on Saturday night, fa witness the performance of the Cogill Bros.' Minstrels. The first part, entitled "New Year's Calls," was an entirely new one. Miss Amy Johns made a decided "hit" with her match song, and Mr C. W. Cogill's comic song " Didn't Like to Mention it," created great laughter. Miss Dora Busch and Miss Laura Roberts were in good voice, and both singers wero recalled for their contributions. Mr Alf. Holland rendered the descriptive song "Will 0' the Wisp" in a finished manner. In the second part, Mr Slade Murray gave three songs of merit, viz., " Where are Those Boys?" "The Good Old Has Been," and "I was One of Them." The applause he secured for each was well- deserved. Miss Katherino Vincini's violin selections were well received, and Cogill Bros, and Mr J. Evans did somo good song and dance business. A "Pas de Trois" ballet by Misses Ethol Clifford, Laura Roberts, Nellie Griffiths and May Arlino was oxecutod in a finished manner. The comic act "The Two Dummies " was capital, and tho concluding farce of the programme ontitled "Stabbed," sent the audience homo in good humour. The same programme will be repeated to-night.
