AlßtfßNiA.— The manager reportß that the reef ab the 70 foot level averages 18 inches, bub a clay head has come in and heaved 'the reef into tho footwall. It wi'l. no doubb, be picked up again shortly. In stopes 1, 2, and 3 west from bhe winze the reef looks splendid. Ib is fully three feeb wide, but the percenbage of gold ab the battery after four days' run on ore from these stones was nob sufficient to cover expenses. Work in these sbopes has bherefore been discontinued,
