"Wellington, this day. At a meeting of the Wellington District Law Society, Mr VV. S. Reid, solicitorgeneral, was elected president, and Mr W. B. Edwards vice-president. Ib is not correct that Mr R. A. Loughnaa is about to become editor of the *' Catholic Times," in succession to Mr Eviaon, who has joined the staff of the Christchurch Press Company. Mr Loughnan retains his position as editor of the "New Zealand Times."
